Incubation
No matter what phase of the cycle your business is in, ChicoSTART will guide entrepreneurs through a tailored incubation program. Accepted applicants will be equipped with the tools to launch, build, and grow a sustainable business. One size does not fit all – we help you lift from where you stand – from ideation to self assessment to research and MVP – even intro’s to accelerators if and when you get to that stage of growth.
iHub
ChicoSTART is the designated Go-Biz iHub for 20+ counties in the North State. We are committed to building an equitable and inclusive innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in underserved regions of the North State.
1 Million Cups
1 Million Cups Chico is a weekly presentation that brings together entrepreneurs and the Chico community over coffee and conversation. We support all startups and give them the opportunity to share their ideas. It is free and open to the public.
Partner with ChicoSTART
We are a 501c3 nonprofit (Chico Economic Planning Corporation DBA ChicoSTART) dedicated to providing needed resources to startups and entrepreneurs. ChicoSTART relies on support from individuals, businesses, the City of Chico, CSUC, and Butte College to fulfill its mission. We have successfully launched 14 startups and created 95 jobs. You can help us continue to positively impact our community and support the individuals who solve problems in new innovative ways.
SBDC Tech Futures Group Affiliate
ChicoSTART is now an SBDC Tech Futures Group Affiliate where we can provide you with FREE support for qualifying entrepreneurs in the North State.
Our support centers on serving entrepreneurs and businesses who need dedicated and specific support to reach their immediate goals. Individuals are paired with an expert coach to help plan and execute on goals. Together we strive to generate growth for your business.

BLUETECH VALLEY is a California Energy Commission (CEC) initiative awarded to CSU, Fresno. ChicoSTART is one of (6) entities throughout CA working with CSU Fresno's Water, Energy and Technology (WET) Center. The focus is to identify service providers, partners and entrepreneurs to extend outreach efforts of BLUETECH VALLEY initiatives focused on water, energy and agtech in the North State.
