Gail Vanderhoof is a North State Creative Director with graphic design and copywriting skills that have helped build national brands like Smith+Noble Windoware, International Wine Accessories (IWA), and Sun Precautions. She has worked locally with B2B businesses like Norfield and Cal-Flor.
She is drawn to working with startups, believing that “amazing things really can be accomplished on a shoestring budget. The thrill is in getting it right at an early stage.” Gail also helps people understand how critical it is to convey specific goals to the creative who work on their projects. She excels in writing creative briefs that are easily understood and can be acted upon.
She has been a speaker at numerous direct marketing clubs and has served on panels at the annual Catalog Conference in Chicago. She attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. Having been hired at a direct marketing agency in her first job, she understands the value in measuring your marketing efforts and continually improving them by honing the offer or the creative.
Her current projects include an affordable housing startup and an interactive learning tool for preschoolers. The star of this project is her family’s rescued Old English Bulldog, Bentley. Gail can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
