Entrepreneurship has become a vital option for the increasing number of Spanish-speakers that are facing a decrease in traditional employment options due to the pandemic in California’s Central Valley. The proposed event seeks to open formal channels of lending and financial services for new Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, including ITIN holders, through increased collaboration among CBOs, TA providers, and affordable lenders. TA providers and affordable non-traditional lenders that focuses on new entrepreneurs and start-ups will present educational resources and lending programs, and will provide collaboration opportunities between bankers and CBOs to jointly increase the reach and capacity of stakeholders currently operating in silos.
