About this event
In “From Farms to Incubators,” Wu’s book and film document how women entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds are leading the new field of agtech, the integration of agriculture and high technology. Wu will speak on how agtech can create better agricultural systems for producers, farmworkers, and consumers, while helping to solve the biggest threats growers are facing under climate change, and offering exciting, high-tech careers for women.
- Guests should complete the Daily Health Screening Questionnaire in advance of coming to campus. If the screening questionnaire results in the guest receiving a red X, the guest should not attend the event.
- Guests (vaccinated or unvaccinated) are required to wear a face covering when indoors. Best efforts should be made to accommodate a six-foot physical distance if attendees will be removing their face covering to eat or drink.
- If guests become ill within two (2) days after the event, they must notify the event host. The host will then contact the campus Office of EHS/Risk Management at 559.278.6910 or via firstname.lastname@example.org.
