Startup Pitch and Workshop + Challenge!

Startup Pitch Workshop: 4-5:30 p.m. 

GrowTECH Hang & Pitch Challenge: 5:30-7p.m.

Location: Secret Trail Brewing Co., 132 Myers Street, #120 Chico, CA 

How does it work? 

Startup Pitch Applicants apply to take the workshop should be ready with current slides/pitch deck. The workshop will offer tips, practice skills and feedback needed execute your impactful pitch. ChicoSTART will pick the top pitches in the workshop. Those chosen will present at the GrowTECH Hang following the workshop. 

How long should my pitch be? 

No more than 3 minutes. Participants will be cut off at the 3 minute mark. 

Qualifications:
1. Before you apply, you need to have a pitch deck prepared that you will need to share with us by September 13th. (upload prompt below)
2. Pitches should be NO LONGER than minutes long.
3. Based on: 
 – Desirability 
–  Feasibility 
–  Viability

– Startup Storytelling/Deck

3. There will be a 1st place = $300, 2nd place = $200 and 3rd place = $100 place given at the end of the GrowTECH Hang. 

4. You will need to bring your own laptop!!!

5. Have fun!  Hint: Remember to focus on the problem, not the solution.
